Volunteers
Operations at the ReStore depend upon our volunteers. From picking up and receiving donations to loading customers' purchases, it's our volunteers getting the work done at the ReStore.

George Fletcher
Everybody loves George! He's the big man with the bigger smile who greets everyone who comes into the store. If you're looking for something special, ask George. He'll find it for you. Thanks for your dedication and humor!

Linda Euneau
When the idea of a ReStore was presented to the Habitat board, Linda thought it was a great idea. She says, "I don't know anything about building materials but I'm friendly and I'll take your money", which she does every Thursday. "It's fun to volunteer! You meet all kinds of people."

John is a tremendous asset for the ReStore. His dedication to volunteerism and Habitat for Humanity's mission to provide affordable housing for families in need is greatly appreciated.

Tina Causey
Tina is a great volunteer who covers at least two shifts a week in addition to being the first to say YES! to special projects. She is originally from Hayward, moved away and has returned.

Bruce designed & managed the project to build our mezzanine door display area.
At the ReStore, "You are able to meet energetic, caring, enthusiastic people. We are able to recycle building materials, and 'stuff' to earn money for needy Habitat recipients.”

Patty VanLandschoot
Afer Patty and her husband David moved "south" from Superior, she responded to the call for volunteers. She and her friend Audrey are now our Sat. morning dynamic duo.Patty reminds us of our need for donations. She loves to unpack & clean them for display & sale.

Dick Langton
Volunteerism is a big part of Dick's life in Hayward. He believes the ReStore has a "tremendous potential and is a great idea."

A Few Volunteer Guidelines
- Volunteers attend a brief training at the beginning of their first shift.
- Volunteers act in a courteous and professional manner and in accordance with all Habitat for Humanity ReStore policies.
- Volunteers wear long pants and appropriate tops. No clothing that promotes alcohol, drugs, violence, gambling or is sexually suggestive is allowed.
- Most important, volunteers have fun and make new friends!
